We found this place in the Good Hotel Guide but it isn't a hotel, it is a farmhouse B&B and a superb one. It is in a remote location on a large working organic farm and is surrounded by cattlesheds, fields full of sheep, tractors, farm implements etc. On arrival we were greeted by our hostess, Enid, who was warm and charming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable with a generous sized bathroom, TV, fridge with fresh milk, home made shortbreads, tea and coffee. We were there for 2 nights and on the first night had dinner - this was a simple, tasty, 3 course meal cooked by Enid and consisted of soup, one of their own chickens and steamed treacle pudding. This cost £20 pp including a glass of sherry. Wine was £10 a bottle. Breakfast was equally good. Places like this are rare and we loved it.
