Met by Suzanne off the train we knew we were in for a treat. The house comprises of two former town houses overlooking the Tweed. It is possible to see the seals playing and feeding from the bedrooms. We stayed in Swan. The bedrooms had soft robes and really nice quality beds, linen and fittings. Chocolates in the room (& the Crabtree & Evelyn products) were lovely touches. Lovely sofas in guest lounge with lots of local maps, info, honesty bar and sweets. Do go for a walk before breakfast as they are fresh, delicious and plentiful with lots of choice.

We chose this B&B after a great recommendation from a friend, and we weren't disappointed. The Walls is in a fantastic location, and Suzanne and Eric were incredibly welcoming, advising us on places to visit in the area. The breakfasts were delicious - I would recommend the crispy Parma ham and scrambled eggs on toasted muffins! We stayed in the Walls room, and the lack of view wasn't a problem at all - the room was beautifully decorated with all the facilities you would need to make teas and coffees. A lovely little B&B, and I will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Absolutly loved this B & B, great little haven which was clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the swan room and our son in the cygnet room next door which though does not have an adjoining door it does share a lobby area and i felt at complete ease. The tea making facilities were replaced every day and were of good quality. The bed in the swan room was HUGE and LOVELY! The honesty bar was a nice touch with a good selection. Suzanne and Eric were welcoming and cooked up a fantastic breakfast (nothing was to much trouble for them), the local honey is a must try and i would definatly go back. The only disappointment was the train times back from Edinburgh last train at 7pm?! But not any ones fault.

We stayed for 2 nights and found everything to our liking. The location is very convenient for the town and the hospitality was first class; nothing was too much trouble. Although our room (The Walls) did not have the views of the upstairs rooms it was perfect for our stay.
