This is the third time that we have stayed at the Walls and all I can say is it gets better every time. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, charm, elegance combined with friendliness and people who care, ‘The Walls’ should be your choice and the views from the windows over the Tweed are pleasing to see. Suzanne and Eric have created a wonderful place to stay and have thought of the smallest of details to make the experience a good one, nothing is too much trouble, they want to make your stay pleasant and the best you have ever had and they succeed in doing so. The breakfasts are exceptional with a good choice and are one of the highlights of the day worth going down for. The walks around the walls have stunning views at every corner. Try St Abbs Head, the 4 mile walk around the most beautiful coastline you could wish for. The train station is not far from the town centre so is a good opportunity to go to Edinburgh for the day without any hassle. Holy Island and Bamburgh are close by and even Alnwick Castle and gardens are not far, all are definitely worth a visit.
