Room rates - £90 per room per night to end of October then Autumn / Winter £70.
Just got back from a 1 night stay. Berwick is a lovely little city and one can walk round the town's walls.
The hotel is old (17th Century), when we arrived our first impession was how lovely it looks from outside with lots of hanging baskets and tubs of flowers. Parking must be a problem at the peak of the season although there are a number of spaces at the front (60p per hour Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5pm) and additional parking at the back.
Entering the hotel there is a peasant bar to the left and restaurant to the right. There are only 6 rooms, we had room 1 which was fine if small, had twin beds, TV, 2 armchairs and shower room. All very clean and comfortable.
We had dinner which was excellent, as was breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, fruit juice followed by a choice of cooked breakfasts.
The owner was epecially helpful.
Highly recomended.
