we had a lovely break at the white swan, when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite because it was our anniversary which was a plesant surprise. The dining room is lovely, food great and the staff couldnt do enough for us. Thankyou would definately visit again and recommend this hotel.

We booked this room on a "2 night deal". We advised that we would be arriving late (about midnight) and were welcomed upon arrival. Thre was parking available at the rear and we were offered a snack and a drink, despite our late arrival. The staff were excellent and attentive, but not overly so. I have been in the White Swan some years ago and it looks improved from what I can remember. As I have roots in this area, it is nice to know that there is somewhere I can stop.

I booked this offer the day before we travelled for two couples, the price was £99.00 per night, per couple, for a double room ,evening meal,breakfast and a bottle of Prossecco in our room upon arrival.
When I booked I was given the chance to upgrade to a superior room for an extra £10.00 per couple which I did.
Upon our arrival we were booked in by some of the most friendly, welcoming staff that I have ever come across. We were given a suite as part of our room upgrade and we were really pleased with it. The room was large , well furnished and spotlessly clean. The promised bottle of Prossecco was on ice waiting for us and was a very nice touch.
We were given a £25.00 allowance for our evening meal which was more than enough, each person had three courses without needing to exceed this amount.
The food was excellent,as were the staff serving us.
I thought this offer was excellent value and I will definitely stay at this hotel again and I would recommend it to others.
