Just returned from a return vist to the acorns as we have family in the area.
Once again a lovely stay Sue makes you feel so welcome and its a lovely relaxing place to be. This will always be my first choice when we visit i just cant fault it .

Spent 4 nights B & B here with my wife. Convenient walking distance from town with a good pub/restaurant for evening meals less than 100 yards away.Off street parking available. We stayed in the garden room at front of the house. Nicely decorated and furnished very clean room with very new ensuite.Comfy bed. Superb cooked breakfasts with good choice of juices, fruits and cereals. Hosts went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Downstairs a nicely furnished conservatory is available for guests to relax in, overlooking delightful garden at rear of house.It is the homeliness of the place and the warm welcome of the hosts which made our stay such a comfortable and enjoyable one.

Excellent, very clean, a real home from home. The annex is great value with its own area to relax in, own entrance. Very convenient for all Alnwick's attractions.
Great welcome, nothing too much trouble, parking, easy will be going again

We stayed in the ground floor annex whihc has its own private side entrance and were extremely pleased with our experience. The place is spotless and we had a private tv/living room with sofa in addition to the bedroom and en-suite - very cosy and great to relax in your own space after a day out walking and exploring. The hostess, Sue is a down to earth and quiet lady who goes about her business without any feeling of intrusiveness. The breakfast was top notch and cooked to perfection to your request and without the greasiness experienced in a lot of hotel and b&b fare. The place is just outside the centre of Alnwick but only a five minute walk and the location makes the place itself better with regard to being very quiet and also with ample safe (and free) parking.
