We booked a room for 2 nights whilst vising Santa Pod, the location is wrong if you follow your Sat Nav and can be about a 5 mile turnaround to get back. On arrival the Receptionist was very nice and friendly and the room was what I expected very basic. There was only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel which we had to use as a bath mat, also a lack of pillows which reception were happy to provide more. The matress was also very soft, I prefer a harder matress so did manage to get very little sleep, but that is a personal preference to people. The floor had not been hoovered properly as there were stones on the floor and I managed to step on some staples!!!!!

When we returned for our 2nd nights stay after our day out we were very dissapointed, the room hadnt been cleaned, bed not made and no change of towels, the cups for the Tea/Coffee facilities has not even been replaced let along washed up. Also there was no cold water and we were told a plumber was on his way so we couldnt even flush the toilet.
There is a diner next door but unable to comment as we did not use.
Overall I dont think I would stay there again, we only booked this room as our usual hotel was fully booked.

Stayed here for the night because we were out in rushden with friends. Paid £19.95 on net a couple of weeks prior. I have got to say I was relieved when we arrived after reading some of the reviews. Was given pleasant welcome and directed to our room. The room was fine, clean, yes it did need updating and the nets needed an iron but for what we paid it was adequate. I have stayed in other places 5 times the amount and wasn't half as good. Didn't use the restaurant next door so can't comment. All in all I would use this travel lodge again if I was in the area.

We stayed here on a two night stay as we were visting family for a wedding.

The wedding was in Rushden, and the travelodge was a bit of a pain to get to. Located on a dual carraigeway we had to go up to the next juction to come back on ourselves to get to the hotel.

We booked a Saturday night, and about 2 days before added on the Sunday night. On the internet it was cheaper to book the rooms under different bookings.

The room was a little dated, to keep the costs down you dont get as much as you used to in the rooms, but we did expect to have more than one towel and an extra pillow!
The room was fairly clean, bathroom could have done with a good scrub and shower curtain a good wash!

Staff were ver pleasant and helpful.

We stayed on the ground floor, was very noisey when the guests were moving out at 6am in the morning and banging around above!

We stayed here as we went to see a band in rushden. It is located off the A road so easy to get to, and of course late check in. It was clean and comfortable and we slept well all good for 40 quid. I must say even at 12:30am the receptionist gave us a smile!
