“Poor customer service”

Arrived early evening, Rang the door bell 3 times!!!
First words to us was "fifty pounds please"!!!!, did not know how to use the card machine so had to go into town to get the cash. We had pre booked.
Breakfast 0800-0900 on a sunday!!!!!!
Headboard hanging off loose, very small bathroom and wardrobe, bed clean though.
On leaving was never offered a receipt or "Did you enjoy your stay!!!!!

“comfortable enjoyable stay”

meals well presented, served when you want them (within reason) and more importantly well cooked with a good choice of menu
Rooms have all normal facilities - en suite - tea & coffee making facility - TV in room etc.
Situated within a few mins of the town centre but located in a quiet residential area.
The landlord (Jim) is hands on, and regardless of request will normally satisfy your requiremants.
