Stayed here as part of Cleveland Way walk. What a pleasure to stay here absolutely everything was thought of and nothing was too much trouble. It was perfect.

Manning Tree is a great guest house. Kate is so kind and nothing was too much trouble. It is beautifully clean with nice modern décor etc. We stayed in the “small” twin room which is cosy but has everything you need. One of the beds is slightly narrower than a standard single but my husband got a good nights sleep in it. There are two other rooms which have double beds in them so you could choose these if you prefer. Kate pays a lot of attention to small details like two Mint Crisps on the towels when we arrived and fresh milk in a fridge on the landing etc etc. The breakfast was lovely. We have already rebooked to go back next Easter with our 14 year old son. I have stayed in lots of other guest houses in RHB and this stands out above the rest.

We have just completed the C2C and this is THE best accommodation we have stayed in on our trip. Clean and superbly appointed accommodation with all the little touches that takes it a cut above the rest. On route and near to all amenities. Have posted on Tripadvisor and Sherpavan every day of our trip but this stands out a mile! Just as a B & B should be. 11/10 from our group.

We returned to The Manning Tree for 2 nights following a break there last year so we were very familiar with it. Once again it did not disappoint. Kate has it pitched just right, excellent customer service and I don't think any request would be too much trouble. We could not recommend it highly enough. It is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are superb. I have no doubt we will return.
