we have stayed here 4 times now and have tried 3 rooms. our favourite is room 4 we like a firm mattress, if you like a soft mattress then I would recommend room 2. We have stayed in room 5 too, we go with friends and between us have stayed in all the rooms and have never had a need to complain. Before we came to the Wayfarer we used to go to a different Guest house/B&B every year but now I think we would struggle to find anywhere as good as this for the price, location, food, and comfort. I must also add that the rooms are exceptionally clean! I would and do recommend this to everyone. Lucy and Chris are very friendly there is parking available so be sure to ask. there are sea views from all windows some of them you have to lean out to see the sea as the building doesn't face the sea. The food is lovely whether Lucy or the chief cook its fantastic, I could go on all day about this place and if you do read any bad reviews then all I can say is that some people will always find something to moan about and maybe those people should do us all a favour and stay at home!

We stayed at the Wayferer early this year and had a wonderful night. Pity it was only one night, as we can't always get away for 2 nights having a 5 year old. The rooms were spotless and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was delicious, nice and spacious dining area, I like that, as I'm not too sociable on a morning. You could also tell it was fresh local produce.. All in all a really lovelly stay, we will be back...

Once again we visited the Resturant, booked of course as they get very busy which speaks for it self ! This was our 3rd visit from the moment we arrived at the reasturant we were treated with the ut- most care ,coats where taken, and they where very busy it being victorian week end but their customer care was exceptional as always - The food was 1st class - I would like to be able to make 3 courses but I never get to the desserts - the house wine was reasonably priced and quite good - What I really love about the wayfarer is the management are on the floor running and we dont see enough of that , Customers are treated like they should be 1st class cant wait to be back in the bay and calling in for dinner

on our travels across europe we have stayed in the best but after this weekend i have had to rewrite the book,The food was first class,this standard it impossible to find in england and it comes with a complete package of first class service rooms to a high standard,clean modern,what more could you ask for and to top it all owners and staff who care about customers. We are on the grand tour again but will be back for a further visit make the wayfarer bistro top of your list of places to try.
