Once again we visited the Resturant, booked of course as they get very busy which speaks for it self ! This was our 3rd visit from the moment we arrived at the reasturant we were treated with the ut- most care ,coats where taken, and they where very busy it being victorian week end but their customer care was exceptional as always - The food was 1st class - I would like to be able to make 3 courses but I never get to the desserts - the house wine was reasonably priced and quite good - What I really love about the wayfarer is the management are on the floor running and we dont see enough of that , Customers are treated like they should be 1st class cant wait to be back in the bay and calling in for dinner

on our travels across europe we have stayed in the best but after this weekend i have had to rewrite the book,The food was first class,this standard it impossible to find in england and it comes with a complete package of first class service rooms to a high standard,clean modern,what more could you ask for and to top it all owners and staff who care about customers. We are on the grand tour again but will be back for a further visit make the wayfarer bistro top of your list of places to try.

We have stayed in Robin Hood's Bay every year for the last few years. We had noticed this bistro before and wanted to eat there. However we always seemed to be there whilst it was either closed or full. We noticed it on Trip Advisor and saw the lovely rooms and the marvelous reviews. We decided to have a change and booked in for the weekend of 18/19 November. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown to our room. We had chosed one of the rooms at the front with the balcony (not much call for this in November but we did have very pleasant weather for this time of year and were able to go outside to take pictures of the view. We had booked the restaurant for the Friday night and were not disappointed the food was excellent. The portion sizes were very good, infact too big for me to try the Baileys Creme Brulee!!! I must leave room next time. The owners went out of their way to ensure that everything was ok. The breakfasts are also excellent good portion size and good quality food. The room was cleaned to a very high standard and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar were in a basket outside the room so no need to keep asking for replenishments. The rooms, food, staff and owners made this a very enjoyable stay, so much so that we booked when leaving for next February.

This is a fabulous place to stay and eat in. The menu is fantastic and the rooms are modern and very comfortable. Found this on the internet more by accident than intentended. After reading the reviews my partner and I decided that we would try it for ourselves. There is no parking but that goes with most of the places in Robin Hood Bay, but public parking are not too far away. The owners offer personal service, friendly and pay attention to details. The dinner was excellent, and so as the breakfast. We will definitely stay again just to try the rest of the menu!
