Myself and my boyfriend stayed there for 2 nights from the moment we walked in we were made very welcome and throughout our stay, food is exellent, breakfast is good too The rooms were very clean, i would go again without a dowt, as i have family up there and travel regulary. The one thing i will advise to people is if you would like to have a room with a bath you do need to tell them, as most the rooms are showers but the owner now knows me now and will make sure i have a room with a bath next time,

The Bridge House Hotel was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well stocked. The resteraunt/bar was very pleasant, with good food and good beer at good prices. I only stayed there for one night, but it was a good stay at a very reasonable price.

If I had to criticize anything, it's that the hotel seems to have a problem with televisions. The TV in my room must have been 25 years old (though it worked fine) and the bar only had a small 13" TV -- not good for watching Champions League matches. But that's a small thing, I wasn't there to watch TV.

The hotel is DIRECTLY across from Catterick Race Course, and while the hotel was quiet while I was there, it's probably loud when there are races.
