We stayed here over Easter in our motorhome. Hard-standing pitches were gravel, but most were on grass. The site is sloping, so chocks may be needed. The showers are toilets aren't spotless but definitely usable (showers are 20p). They have fresh water and chemical disposal points on-site. The weather was great when we were there and we sat outside a lot. It was quiet and the views of the Dales are amazing! Staff were helpful and at reception they have plenty of leaflets about attractions in the area, and WiFi is free, you just have to ask. The quaint village of Hawes is only a short walk away where there's shops, restaurants, tea rooms, etc. and many scenic walks. This is definitely the best campsite for visiting Hawes and the Yorkshire Dales.
