We were only there one night, but this really is an excellent place. Huge room (complete with large flat screen TV and DVD player) and really comfy bed. Great breakfast. Welcoming hosts. And it's just a short stroll from the town and museum. Highly recommended

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Fair View and would recommend it to anyone. We were met by Barbara and instantly made to feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble for her and Gordon. Gordon actually gave us a lift to the wedding venue we had come to attend (thanks again Gordon!) which meant we arrived nice and dry! The breakfasts available will suit all tastes and appetites and the rooms are large and well appointed with superb views to the fell behind.
You will not find better value, or a more welcoming couple, in Hawes and we will most certainly stay at the Fair View again.

We stayed with our daughter for 2 nights, walking in the rain. Barbara and Gordon were very friendly and helpful. We were comfortable in the spacious room 1 with our daughter opposite in the single room. Great value and we shall definitely recommend it and return. Perfect location for the delights of Hawes for when the rain is just too much! Recommend the restaurant at Herriots art gallery.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable 4 nights stay at the Fairview Guest House in Hawes and what a Superb break it was .
The room was very comfortable with facilities to match and the Breakfasts were outstanding .
Excellent value for money , I cannot recommend too highly and we will be returning .
