Just outside Hawes in Gayle so easy parking and quiet but a pleasant walk of 1/2 mile or so to Hawes.
Hosts very welcoming and friendly. TV is in the lounge and a very good breakfast served there in the morning.
In the midst of beautiful countryside with lots of walks both long and short, Lorna is a mine of local information and will recommend good eating places.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time at The East House Guest House and couldn't fault a single thing! It is located in Gayle just a short walk from Hawes. Very centrally located and with beautiful views on the top of a hill. The rooms and the whole house were immaculately clean and the breakfast was delicious. Lorna and her husband made us feel so welcome and it felt like a home from home. We shall definitely be returning and if you ever get the chance to visit the Yorkshire Dales, East House is the place to stay, if you are lucky enough to get a room as it is a very popular place.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Good size room with ensuite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. TV lounge downstairs. Off-road parking for 2 cars but also parking across the street. Host, Lorna, is very friendly and gives good tips on walks in the area. Good location for travelling anywhere within the Dales.
