We stayed at the C B inn this weekend for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Mouth watering food, beautiful lanscape, very relaxing, will be back to enjoy countryside and walks. Throughly recommend.

Having popped in a couple of times for a drink over the course of our long weekend in Arkengarthdale we decided to eat there on Sunday 27th November.

The bar person kindly advised us to book to ensure we got the time slot we wanted, despite this being a Sunday in November and this proved to be excellent advice.

I cannot praise the food high enough, with the chicken, chorizo and butternut squash proving an utter delight. The contrefillet of smoked bacon was equally good, if not a little over-facing, and the meal was finished off by the cheese board and creme brûlée respectively.

The food was excellent although the service at the bar by the many staff was less good, having to either wait at times for someone to re-appear from the kitchen, or wait for them to realise you were waiting at the bar. Whilst the service wasn't bad, I found them to be somewhat distracted

That said, everyone was pleasant enough and this didn't detract from the great food.

Will definitely return.

Have stayed here a few times, sometimes on business and also in shooting parties and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, the staff helpful and the rooms very comfortable.There is very little not to like and the location is fabulous.

A perfect romantic break in the Dales, Fabulous food, local Grouse was melt in the mouth and staek cooked to perfection. Rooms very comfortable a great nights sleep. Staff very attentive, will definitely come back in the near future
