Thanks once again to Odete & Stuart for a great stay last Wednesday it was every bit as good as the last time we will be back!!

Very hospitable, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly hosts.
Clean rooms, delicious home-cooked food (dinners highly recommended).
Secure & dry bicycle parking.
Relaxing atmosphere.
Lots of nice walking & riding nearby. Plenty to see and do especially for Herriot fans.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here on 11th september after walking the first section of the Herriott way from Hawes,we were very impressed with the standard of the accomodation and visited the pub over the road before coming back to an evening meal cooked by Stuart,what a meal,it was gorgeous and so beautifully presented,Odette gave us a few handy tips on what to expect on the rest of our walk as she had experience of walking the route twice.We were impressed with her photography and were able to buy postcards of the Herriott way that she had produced herself,nice touch. Another very tasty meal for us at breakfast with a nice range of fresh fruits also,set us up nicely for the next stretch as the weather was not good! Well done Stuart and Odette you can be proud of your place ,we really enjoyed our stay

Full marks from me too. Very friendly, professional and the whole little place is marvelous and heavenly. Quiet and charming little villiage to look on to from the windows. You look out on to the village green and old cottages. The food is truly really first class, reason on its own to go there, it is hand assembled and cooked - no pies from packets or anything like that. Room was very clean and smart. Within litterally a matter of yards you can walk into beautiful scenery in various directions including to the Aysgarth waterfalls.
