We stayed here last Saturday as we were going to a party locally . After a little confusion over the room we were soon sorted by the very helpful girl on reception.
We had a lovely sized room with a nice size bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
We had a meal in the restaurant before we went to the party and it was excellent and would like to linger over it a little longer but we had a taxi booked so had to leave pretty quickly.
We shared a taxi with another couple who were staying and going to the same party .
We didn't know them personally but they were friends of the friend who's party it was. Luckily we got on like a house on fire and were soon swapping stories!
We had a drink in the bar when we got back and then departed to bed.
The bar area was very nice - low lighting and plenty of olives and nuts etc , and nice squashy sofas.
After a decent nights sleep we got up to a very nice breakfast and then we went.
I would like to thank the staff at the Beeches as they were very helpful as I had left my glasses . I rang them when we got home Sunday night adnd they rang me on Monday morning after the cleaners had found them and posted them to me straightaway. I got them the next morning - and they wouldn't let me send money for the postage. So well done The Beeches!!
We would certainly recommend anyone to stay here in the future.

Nice location, plenty of free parking, the room was clean, bed comfortable, the radio was a bit ancient but worked, the tv was also a bit ancient and seemed to 'flatline' after 15 mins viewing but a sharp tap on the top sorted it, bathroom was bigger than expected with nice toiletries and towels, the shower was a bit weak but adequate, didnt sample the breakfast or restaurant, would stay here again.

We stayed in a deluxe room,at short notice and found this part of the hotel to have been recently refurbished and was of a high standard and quiet.. The room was well lit with a good number of powerpoints. Tea/coffee tray was well stocked. Hanging space and drawers are plentiful.The bathroom was very well presented with towels being of a good standard and plentiful. If you like radio, then bring your own, as our room at least was not equipped. The free wi-fi, although a tad slow, worked well. The rest of the hotel is in very good order and cleanliness is very evident, with all public facilities well maintained. The bar/lounge areas have soft lighting and plenty of seating and drinks tables. The Brasserie is spacious,light and airy and the choice of menu is varied. The food and service were excellent....food hot , cooked and presented to a high standard. The wine list is extensive, however you may feel the prices are at the top end but the house wines are reasonably priced. Breakfast was taken in the conservatory and again was excellent - fresh,hot,plentiful and of a high standard. What sets this 3 star hotel above others is the quality of the staff, indeed 4 and 5 star hotel staff could learn a great deal from this team! From the moment we arrived the care,service and attentiveness was consistantly high, without being obtrusive and maintained until we left. We would return without hesitation.

we stayed at this hotel when visiting family, what a welcome we were greated with smiles and politeness ,we were shown to our room was asked if we were staying for dinner ,were asked if we need anything just to ask ,we got ready and left for our night out ,when we returned we odered drinks and took them to our room, the staff greated us next morning with a lovely smile the breakfast was outstanding ,and the place was clean it was value for money, and i will book again when we visit family i would recomend this place to family and friends 10 out 10 and i left my cds in the room and they sent them back to me how nice of them ,this hotel is placed on my top 10 of hotels i have stayed at and i have stayed at hotel at double the price and have nowhere had the hopitality this hotel gave us thank you for a lovely night .
