Have stayed and eaten at Middle Flass several times both with our family and on our own. It is extremely welcoming and the owners clearly enjoy meeting their guests. It has a lot of character and if you choose to eat in, the food is traditional, excellent quality, very well cooked and presented. To complement it there is a very good wine list and for any whisky drinkers the bar supplies a range of very good malts from the major whisk(e)y producing regions of Scotland and Ireland. In all it provides what is essentially the best of Lancashire hospitality and to those where county rivalry is important it is only a very few miles away from its Yorkshire neighbour. In addition to its hospitality it is located in a very quiet, beautiful part of the county which is relatively traffic free.
