I have seen a few poor reviews of this hotel and have to say i am amazed. We are regular users of this hotel when visiting family in the area and every visit has been a great experience. The property has been extremely well maintained from day one and the staff have always been first class. We often arrive late and check-in is hassle free, even the occasion when I had managed to click the wrong date on my internet booking!
They are great behind the bar and always make us feel not only very welcome but true regulars. We've stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels that could not deliver this level of personal service to guests - ok its a budget hotel and the rooms are not designed for a luxury break but as an example of how a budget hotel should operate it is top of the class.

One nights stay to attend a party which was close by. The room was well laid out and clean, the shower was amazing with clean towels and bedding.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really good, not the best but adequate and plenty of it.
Overall it was a better stay than i have had in more expensive hotels. About 3 other family members also stayed and had similar experiences. The barman in the evening was attentive, chatty and good humoured.

You are Advertising wrong service because we are in it right now and we are having very bad service with no sheets changed for 3weeks no room vacum no towels everyday you have to asked them no cheese durirng weekend for breakfast no washed tray we complain every week with front desk manager mr christ. Christ was trying to be very helpfull but someone on top of him is ignoring our complains

We stayed here while on a Christmas Market holiday weekend break with Just Go coach holidays. The room was excellent, but the evening meal and breakfast food was awful and mostly inedible. The staff were most unhelpful and rude.
Do not use a coach holiday company who stay at this hotel!!!
