Stayed at the "Gallery House" in Whitstable for a few days in the late summer. We only saw the owner once on arrival when we were asked to pay upfront and to leave the keys when we left. Breakfast could have been arranged and left in the fridge in your room to eat at your leisure but we opted out of this as felt was a bit pricey and plenty of nice cafes about to get your own breakfast or to get something from the local supermarket. The room was adequate apart from the fact that the "ensuite shower" was being a bit economical with the truth as the shower cubicle was actually in the room and not partioned off at all. There was a single toilet and full bathroom outside your door on the landing for both rooms to use. The room had been newly decorated and had ample storage space with a table and two chairs for you to eat your breakfast or any meal as plates cutlery glasses etc are all provided for your use. A lot of thought has gone into the running of this B & B .It was very near the main high street and some noise could be heard from the late night youngsters!
Saying all this we enjoyed our stay in Whitstable (apart from a terrible meal at the pub on the front near Zizzi's where i was ill afterwards due to a crab which was possibly off) and would not hesitate to return especially as you are so close to Canterbury Herne Bay etc all within very easy reach.
