What a find! I recently stayed at Gardeners Rest with my husband to explore the South/East Coast area. Our room was extremely comfortable, very spacious with wonderful views over the golf course and out to the sea. The bed was very comfortable with lovely crisp linen; the bathroom, modern with everything we needed. We would have liked to have stayed a lot longer than the two nights.
Ken and Sandra were excellent and friendly hosts providing us with information of where to go and making sure our stay was most comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and could not be faulted. Again the breakfast area was in a beautiful setting with great views.
The area offers great walks, especially along the coast and we loved dinner on the beach at The Zetland - went back there a second night.
We will definitely return when back in the UK!

Stayed for 2 nights, would have liked longer. The attention to detail is without question the best. Very comfortable rooms and a sumptious breakfast. Mine hosts are the most helpfull, and obliging we have ever met.
Fantastic views, and a garden to be savoured.

Would really recommend Gardeners Rest - Ken and Sandra are great hosts and very welcoming, our bedroom was fabulous, huge with really comfortable bed and amazing views. There's loads to explore in the area too.

We stayed for 2 nights and were not disappointed

We were greated with tea and fresh homemade scones which was nice touch

We went to one of the 3 local pubs ,The Zetland which is right on the beach for something to eat on the first evening and enjoyed fanatstic fish & chips

The next morning we had the an amazing breakfast-Full english with local sausages and bacon from the village,Mushrooms,Tomatoes from the garden,homemade hashbrowns made from potatoes grown in the garden,fried eggs from hens in the garden and fried bread and toast from homemade bread-wow!

The owners were lovely-not intrusive but if you stopped and talked they would happily chat away-if you walked straight past they would carry on with whatever they were doing

The room was bright and spacious-yes not our choice of decor but it was fine-the shower was lovely with loads of hot water and a seperate bath

There was a little balcony with chairs on to sit and enjoy the stunning views over the channel and soak up the sunshine
