Stayed at this hotel because of a family emergency. After searching for somewhere in Granville that was also pet friendly, this seemed to be the only reasonable option. The lady on the phone was very nice when making reservations and accomodated us according to the special price for mentioning the online add. When we arrived at the Inn was very beautiful and we were shown everything that we would need to accomodate us and our pet (one of the only pet friendly hotels within 40 minutes drive). Our biggest problem was that the room got so cold overnight that you could actually see our breath. I had asked the lady in the office to turn up the heat when we had checked into the room and she said she agreed it was a little bit cold. Apparently, the heat was not turned on. Perhaps some remodeling with more insulation would do wonders. We were so uncomfortable and stiff in the morning, not to mention our pets were shivering in their kennels, that we decided not to stay the second night (which would have been much more convenient). Also, the continental breakfast left much to be desired. There were stale cinnamon rolls that were rock hard, oatmeal, water and coffee. While the hotel was very charming, it wasn't enough to override the completely uncomfortable experience that night.
