The house is very nice and situated directly by the sea, its only a few foot steps away from the beach. The garden is so beautiful and we were allowed to use it at any time!!! The location is very easy to find and in walking distance to the hovercraft and the catamaran. From Ryde you can go anywhere on the Island. The main bus station is also only a short walk away. Because we stayed in Claverton House, we didn't even need a car which would have been quite different, if we had stayed somewhere else like Bembridge or Newport. There is a lovley beach walk from the house along the beach to Seaview...simply the best relaxing path in europe... The house is very clean and the hosts were so good to us! Their service was excellent, we could even wash our clothes. They were also very flexible with the times of stay and we we were able to also book the flat for half a week which in other places is often not the possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and will go back as soon as we can. We will also recommend Claverton House to our friends and family as the perfect place to stay on the Island!
