We have just came back from a 2 night stay this hotel and the only words I can stay what a fantastic hotel the food was outstanding the staff was also very friendly and so helpful nobody could not do enough for you we would like to say a big thank you to Alison in the restaurant for her advice and help with us getting to London for the day. I stayed a total of five nights over two successive weeks and was very favourably impressed. Rooms were spotless, beds were comfy and there are flatscreen TVs and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. There is free wi-fi internet but you don't seem to be able to get a signal in some parts of the hotel. The restaurant/bar menu is tasty and well presented. I was working at a company near the railway station which was a straightforward, short drive from the hotel. About the only fly in the ointment was a problem with the shower on my first morning, but this was sorted out with an upgrade to a better room when I returned that afternoon. Particularly impressive are the staff, who are polite, friendly and eager to please; I can think of several occasions where they took a little extra trouble to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay.

We booked initially for 2 nights between Christmas and New Year, and took advantage of a special offer the hotel was running with 20% off. We were really pleasantly surprised with the hotel,- on arrival we were given an upgrade to an Executive Room as it was my birthday, which was a lovely gesture. The room was so nice that we decided to stay an extra night. The reception and bar staff were all really friendly and helpful, and we were made to feel very welcome at all times. The only downer was when we decided to have dinner in the hotel on our last evening, the restaurant was completely full and we had to wait for a table to become free which was fine, but as a result we were then rushed with our meal as the kitchen was closing. Apart from that, however, a really enjoyable and pleasant stay, we definitely plan to return.

We have stayed recently 3 times and each time the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. We book via the internet through an agency which allows room only as we are never up for breakfast. Not to be charged for it is great when we rarely have it. Reception team need a few tips on customer service but in general fine.Good location, free parking and we shall return on a leisure basis.
