We have recently returned from spending six nights at Bramble Hill and as we went for a relaxing holiday - my husband having recently recovered froma very serious operation - it was just the place for us. A peaceful spot with no traffic no nightlife, do as you please which is exactly what we did. The food was very good and the evening meal produced some delightful suprises. We usually like to travel around and see places but in this instance that was out of the question. Thank you Mavis and Alan for everything.

This hotel always makes me feel relaxed. I feel at home there and keep going back.
If you want a big hotel chain with no character then don't go there. This place is unique and we always get a lovely welcome and smile whenever we step inside. I've just got home after a super cream tea. I wish I could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.

The peace and tranquility of Bramble hill was perfect for our wedding night after a hectic day we were able to unwind at our leisure. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, afternoon tea on the lawn,a tasty smoked trout salad for supper. We had a lovely comfortable room with a massive bathroom plenty of space, the delightful owners provided a magnificent breakfast with beauftiful smoked haddock and plenty of tea and coffee. We will definitely be going back for afternoon tea somewhen very soon
