Great service, lovely atmosphere and quirky building. We stayed just for one night, but didn't eat (wish we had!). We were told we had been given the biggest room on booking, which was ample but not huge - but what do you need other than a nice clean comfy bed? The bathroom was rather on the small size, but again, serviced our needs. Breakfast, which was served between 9 and 10am, was served in a nice way, and was delicious. We would certainly come back if we were in the area again and would love to sample the restaurant next time.

It's important that I point out I didn't eat here...the food is meant to be excellent and the restaurant looked very nice.

I just stayed one night and the room was incredibly average. It was a double room for £85.
There was room for a bed and little else. You could only access the bed from one side as the other was pushed up against the wall.

The bathroom was tiny....not much else to say, other than I would have been happy paying £50.

We met up with friends for a meal at Berties and my partner and I stayed the night. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really wlecome, room was a bit on the small side but was comfy and bathroom was fine. The meal we all had in the evening was exellent and staff were really nice. Great breakfast in the morning so overall a really good time thank you.

We had a separate room for a birthday celebration - there were about 14 of us and the food came up all at the same time, hot and delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. My husband and I stayed in a room upstairs. It was clean, comfortable and as it overlooked the road, not as noisy as I expected. In the morning we had a fabulous breakfast and were not rushed out, despite the fact that it was the owners' day off and they planned to go out for the day. I would definitely stay again. Thank you.
