We came down for the Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend (which was tremendous) and needed a place to stay. All the hotels near Goodwood were booked up.

I found this one whilst searching on line and booked quite well in advance.

We arrived latish on the Friday having been to the FoS that day. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was comfy and spacious so well pleased.

The Hotel is situated walking distance from pubs, restaurants and the station. There is ample car parking space on site.

Breakfast is in a big airy conservatory at the back overlooking the garden, and again the staff did everything to help out. (even changing the breakfast times for early starters.)

Overall a great weekend, thank you.

Nice enough in appearance, the room was clean and comfortable, furnishings were new but a bit cheap looking. Staff were friendly, breakfast was quite nice, although my table wasn't very clean and I had a dirty knife. Wi fi was poor, couldn't get a very good reception.

If you are just staying overnight it is fairly good value for money. Wouldn't recommend a long stay. And avoid the Harvester next door, food was very poor!

We stayed at the Travelrest from 11th Sept until 15th Sept.
The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin.. It is a small friendly hotel which was somewhere to lay your head at night. The staff were friendly and would help you out when needed. Personally the duvet was too heavy but other than that the room was large & comfortable.

I would recommend the hotel to other people as it is close to Fareham town centre and is accessible to m27.

Our room ,37, was a good size, clean with a hospitality tray that had realistic amounts of tea ,biscuits etc. The bathroom was small but that is to be expected with house conversions. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The brekfast was an extra £7.50 but there was a nicely laid out buffet selection and the hot food beatifully cooked.
We stayed for 5 nights and would use this hotel again.
