we had three rooms booked which were booked over the telephone, no confirmation was sent however they did take a credit card number. On arrival which was approx 3.30pm, the place was pretty run down, we checked in to find that we were one room short, however they did offer us a room near to the rest of our family. when we got into the rooms they were freezing cold, bathrooms were mildew round the top badly scratched, the cold tap of sink fell of in your hand, and the sink itself had a massive spider crack in the basin. walking to our room there were other rooms which were boarded up with chip board. when we looked out of our window, the rooms opposite were being renovated so it was nt a pretty site, one room had all old mattresses stacked in the window. There was no food or drink available til after 5pm. We put in a complaint but the deputy manager was busy weed spraying out the front of the building, however he offered to move our rooms, but when you already have three booked that are disgusting whats the point of going to three more which are going to be the same. The place was worse then walking into and army barracks. The eating ares well the carpets look as though they have never been hoovered, and were so badly stained, very unhygeneic around food. We will be contacting consumer direct and trading standards, this place should not be open to the public until it has been completely renovated.
