The best thing about Premier Inns seems to be the good training of the staff. They are always very helpful and friendly. This hotel is not quite as nice as the Premier Inn (Freeport Village) just over the road but is still a good stopover for Stansted airport, 15 minutes drive away. The rooms are similar but just not quite as nice for some reason. Everything was clean and tidy, although our original room did smell heavily of smoke and we were moved straight away without quibble. The on site Brewers Fayre pub is not as good as The Fowlers Arms which is next to the Premier Inn Freeport Village across the road but this one does have the advantage of a good Co-op mini mart in the adjacent 24 hour petrol station.
Overall great value for money and would recommend.

The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The staff were friendly and efficient and made us feel welcome. The restaurant was good and was excellent value for money. The next time I visit Braintree I will stay here as we had the best nights sleep in a hotel for a while.

We used this hotel for a few days away for our anniversary, and we have nothing but praise for the way we were treated during our stay there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and felt like home for while we there. We would highly recommend a stay there.

Good effcient service encoutered Christmas Eve. The Hotel was Around the corner from my mother's house but as my sister and her family bagged her spare room, Santa had to come and visit my young sons there! We arrived late but the check in was fast and hassle free and we were in a clean room within minutes. Extra tea and coffee provisions were provided when we asked for it and the Day staff unluckly enough to be working on Christmas Day were very pleasent and took great delight being shown what presents my youngsters had been given. Will definitely recommend to my sister!
