I stayed at this hotel with my partner for 2 nights as we had a wedding to attend close by. The hotel was of the usual good, basic standard of any premier inn. But the service was outstanding and made it go from a standard hotel to an exceptional hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted with a smile, our booking was located and we were checked in. We unfortunately had to check-in again the next day for our second night as we had made the two bookings seperately which was a bit of a fuss but I'm sure not the staff members fault.
We asked when the pub shuts and was informed it already had but was advised about the Frankie & Benny's restaurant across the way - helpful.
A taxi was booked for us for the following afternoon after being informed how long we should leave to arrive at our destination (Wedding reception) as we didn't know the area.
The following morning at check out we were greeted by the same lovely lady (name unknown). She asked how the wedding was and showed a polite interest before wishing us a safe journey home and checking us out.
Cannot fault the staff or praise them enough. Thank you!

The location is good - right across from some shops and restaurants but also close to the main road for when you want to get back home. It was a bargain of a booking at £29 one night and £35 for the other night.

Tea and coffee making facilities are available all night as is a vending machine for snacks and cold drinks.

The rooms were big and spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows you can't get enough of. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dated incomparison to the rest of the hotel. The shower had a curtain instead of a door and was very powerless. The washbasin felt plastic and it was incredibly cold in there with the tiles and a non working radiator. This additionally made it hard to dry our towels. But as holiday inn's go - this one was a winner for us.

booked room as we were going to a wedding the hotel itself was lovely and clean very helpful and friendly staff ,breakfast was to die for ,but unfortunately one thing let it down there was no bath only a shower and im sorry to say that at the end of a very lovely and busy day all i wanted to do was have a good soak and was very dissapointed but would highly reccommend this hotel to other travellers

Like most Premier Inns, the Freeport Premier Inn is operated in a friendly and efficient manner. The loication, at the junction of the main road to Stansted, is ideal for anyone using it as a convenient overnight stop prior to onward air travel.

I arranged a birthday trip for my grandson Jack, who has autism.The staff had met Jack when we booked the room and we were surprised and delighted to find that our room had been decorated with birthday balloons, banners and other decorations,along with a birthday card and some sweets for Jack.We had a delicious meal next door at Fowler's Farm and enjoyed a good night's sleep in very comfy beds.The breakfast was good and plentiful too.Altogether a very happy stay!
