We were attending a wedding at Spains Hall down the road, so needed a reasonable B+B that wasn't too far away for a taxi home (which are EXPENSIVE - book in advance)

The barns are lovely, set back off the road so nice and quiet, set in pretty gardens.

Our room was perfect, with lots of tea and milk (I like my tea). The room had a 4-poster, which I was concerned would be 'chintzy' as they normally are, but it was tasteful and clean - as was the whole place. We also had a great view of the gardens and butterflies, but still felt a nice private room.

Breakfast: wow! perfect, excellent quality and seconds on toast if I could have managed it but was too full!

I'd definately recommend it, especially for weddings nearby. It's very reasonable; I've paid more and got less in the past, and the bonus was that we were given a key for the front door so didn't feel bad arriving back late.

Lastly, we both said Diana was exactly the sort of person who should be running a B+B, homely, welcoming, yet professional! (Diana thanks for everything!)
