“Could'nt be better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2010

We had a wonderful stay at Cleat House. On arrival we were served a sumptous cream tea, what a treat! The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, five minutes walk from the High Street in a quiet neighbourhood. Our room was warm and cosy and the bathroom the biggest we've ever seen. Bathrobes and toiletries gave it an extra touch of luxury. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of fruit, yoghurt, jams, warm croissants and a wide choice of cooked options. Rob and Linda do excell as hosts and they get top marks from us!

“Great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2010

Having just spent 4 nights at Cleat House I can thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking for a luxury stay in Sheringham. The room was beautiful and the attention to detail would put many top hotels to shame. I look forward to returning for a game of golf and Linda's breakfast!

“Luxurious Cleat House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2010

Just spent a lovely relaxing weekend in Norfolk staying at excellent luxury B&B, Cleat House. The owners, Rob and Linda are warm and friendly and a mine of local information. The scrumptious cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch, and served in the pleasant walled garden. We stayed in the Kelling room, which had the biggest en-suit bathroom I've ever seen. Everything was spotlessly clean and tasteful especially the huge Christy towels, toiletries and quality bed linen. The homely bedroom was well proportioned, at the front of the house, looking out onto a quiet road which was less than a 10 minute walk from town. Linda is clearly a keen cook and her vegetarian breakfast menu made a nice change from the usual meat free fry up. The meat and fish breakfast options were also varied and delicious. Linda also kindly booked us a table at nearby restaurant No 10. The food there was exquisite.

Sherringham is a delightful quaint seaside town. We were impressed with the number of eateries in the town, and vegetarians seemed to be well catered for (especially surprising considering it's a seaside resort!). We had a lovely time walking along the coast path to Sherringham Park. Blickling Hall, half an hour away by car, is also well worth a visit.

We'll definitely be back.

“This beautful B&B ticks all the boxes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2010

We have just returned from a few days in beautiful Norfolk. We were celebrating a friends birthday and booked into Cleat House in Sheringham for three nights. We were absolutely thrilled with our choice. Robert and Linda greeted us warmly on arrival and assisted with our luggage. Our friend (single) was booked into the Blakeney room and we accomodated the Holt Room. Both rooms were a very good size and absolutely gorgeous, with quality furnishings and decoratings throughout. Both had lovely views over the garden and ours had distant views of the golf course. The beds were so comfy - best sleep we've had for ages! Chokkies were a nice touch too :) Tea and coffee facilities (and biscuits) were available in the room with jugs of fresh milk available from the bar fridge in the common room. Our own private bathrooms were also a very good size and all the luxuries were provided!

Linda served our cream teas on arrival in the "common room" on the second floor, beautiful home made cakes and scones...went down a treat after the long drive! This room has all the comforts and amenities you should require, internet access, dvd's, bar fridge where you can store your wine or whatever, also an honor box should you wish to partake in any of the various apperitifs they have supplied. Even a bowl with sliced lemon was left in the fridge! This innovative couple have thought of everything!!

Linda was kind enough to assist with recommending and booking a few good restaurants nearby. We tried the Wiveton Bell in neaby Wiveton for dinner one night and it was excellent! Or the walk into town for other restaurants and along the seafront is very closeby.

The breakfasts every morning were "top notch" and we loved the Kippers (bought locally) and scrambled eggs were great. There also were a very good choice of cereals, juices, fruits, yoghurts, home made breads and jams available.

In summary we loved our stay at this gorgeous B&B. Our hosts Linda and Robert could not do enough for us. Don't look anywhere else for somewhere to stay in Sheringham. You definitely will not be disappointed!
