A very last minute call to Stewart the owner and I was in luck, one room left, the Lavender room.
Situated at the front of the B & B with two large windows, (which actually opened all the way so I could enjoy the fresh Hunstanton air! I can't stand B & B's or hotels where the windows only open an inch!) the Lavender room was clean, very well appointed with everything one could need for a few days away: flat screen telly, (great for the F1 whilst we were there!) tea & coffee, fridge etc.
A superb shower / toilet adjoins the room, has the feel of a very swanky hotel with tiles on the floor and a power shower and huge mirror on the wall, very clean too.
The rest of the B & B is just as clean and well presented, the breakfast room was lovely on a sunny Sunday morning. And as for breakfast, simply stunning, I would go back JUST for brekkie!!
Take a stroll out and turn right and within 3 minutes you are on the sea front and able to walk for miles and miles. The shops are even closer, but not close enough to hear anything to disturb a good nights sleep.
We ate at CHives restaurant and was most impressed - excellent service, fantastic food and well priced.
All in all a well earned break away and so glas I found Eton Lodge, we will definately be going back in the Summer.
