“Great place, great people, great food”

Caren and Stewart are simply fabulous hosts, they made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The extras they provide are lovely, for instance, the chocs, water and fresh milk in the fridge which are replenished daily and the biscuits which go nicely with that afternoon cuppa. If you forget your toothbrush, razor, bath/shower gel and much more, don't worry as Caren has everything you need there in your bathroom. As most people have said the breakfast was scrummy and I will be having a go at making Stewarts speciality Soufle Omelette's.....they were just beautiful.

“Fantastic quiet location, friendly owners & lovely clean rooms.”

A very last minute call to Stewart the owner and I was in luck, one room left, the Lavender room.

Situated at the front of the B & B with two large windows, (which actually opened all the way so I could enjoy the fresh Hunstanton air! I can't stand B & B's or hotels where the windows only open an inch!) the Lavender room was clean, very well appointed with everything one could need for a few days away: flat screen telly, (great for the F1 whilst we were there!) tea & coffee, fridge etc.

A superb shower / toilet adjoins the room, has the feel of a very swanky hotel with tiles on the floor and a power shower and huge mirror on the wall, very clean too.

The rest of the B & B is just as clean and well presented, the breakfast room was lovely on a sunny Sunday morning. And as for breakfast, simply stunning, I would go back JUST for brekkie!!

Take a stroll out and turn right and within 3 minutes you are on the sea front and able to walk for miles and miles. The shops are even closer, but not close enough to hear anything to disturb a good nights sleep.

We ate at CHives restaurant and was most impressed - excellent service, fantastic food and well priced.

All in all a well earned break away and so glas I found Eton Lodge, we will definately be going back in the Summer.

“Fab B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2010

Stayed at Eton Lodge in September 2010 for a long weekend. Would recommend the B&B for the friendly owners, the location, cosy bluebell room and fab breakfast (try the french toast special).

“lovely, lovely, wow”

on arrival on a dark soggy friday evening, was met and welcomed warmly by stewart, lovely. room outstanding, clean, cosy, bathroom awesome. wonderful bed linen, and lots of little extras; fridge with real milk, cotton buds, make-up removing pads, loads of good sized clean towels, just crikey, thank you! breakfast ordering is a joy, you get exactly what YOU require; all cooked wonderfully and fresh, more than enough to see the biggest appettite through the day, excellent. wonderful crockery, lovely and clean, sparkling, just lovely. our two night stay was a complete rest/break; we enjoyed staying at eton lodge so much we are returning again in april. just wonderful, thank you both. if, if i was to compalin about anything, a tiny thing, sorry stewart and caren, it would be to mention the cobwebs on the extremley high ceilings, they only stood out because everything else was so clean and tidy. i only marked 3 for the sleep quality, as i find it difficult to sleep anywhere else except my own bed, the mattress being softer than we are used to at home, but thats a personal preference, there wasn't anything wrong with it.
