myself and my wife had a busy summer, with visitors from home and abroad. we decided to take a week in Kerry and Cork. We were not disappointed. the hotel and staff was first class. The reception we were given was warm and friendly.
the only negative, was the room on ground floor, so we had a limited view and could not leave window open. The food was good, witout being exciting. There was little options for good food in the locality

We stayed in Lodge no 2, these lodges really are 5 star. Very luxurious, fully equipped, stunning views, what more could you ask for. Our lodge had a stunning back garden, with a barbecue and patio area. Perfect for summertime!
I would reccommend these lodges to anyone wanted to explore Kerry from the most luxurious base on offer.

With family & friends we visited this beautiful part of Ireland recently. The Hotel is well located on the Ring of Kerry, very close to Derrynane House and Park. The warmth of the welcome and service from the management and staff is a sight to behold. A large group of revellers were attending a wedding in the vicinity and each and every one expressed their praises for the total genuine welcome received. We ate in the dining room on two evenings and the food was excellent.
We stayed in the adjoining holiday homes which are spacious and very well appointed

I had a wonderful 3 day break at the Derrynane Hotel this september. The views from the bedroom and the restaurant and bar were spectacular, particularly as there was a gale force raging and the skies were blue. It was all sea and sky. I loved the outdoor pool - what a treat! As was the sauna afterwards. The staff were fantastic - so friendly. I was by myself and wasn't charged a single supplement which made it very affordable.It was a lovely break away by myself. I'll be doing it again ...

We stayed at this hotel a couple of times recently as we toured the Ring of Kerry by car.
It has stunning views of the bay.
Touring Ireland in the Autumn means the weather can be changeable, yet our room overlooking the bay was warm and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel.
The evening menus offered a selection of dishes to suit all tastes and the food, cooked to a high standard, was delicious.
Throughout our two visits the staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
As a stopping-off point on the Ring of Kerry route by car, this hotel has an excellent position.
means we shall stay here again on our trips to western Ireland.
