I went to Tinos island for 3 days with friends, looking for a small treat for ourselves. we selected Porto Tango through the internet and we absolutely loved what we saw. However, what we found there was a hotel located uphills, away from the beach, so dated that it made you wonder if whether the last renovation took place in the 60's. Not great on the cleaning of the rooms. A dreadful smell of sewage was commng through an area right next to swimming pool didn't allow us to sit neither at the swimming pool area nor leave any windows open in our room. Possibly got food poisoning at breakfast as it seems the milk had gone off. As I could go on for hours, to cut it short, do not let the hotel's site fool you! In reality, there is no resemblance whith what you'll find when you get there.

I went there this July and I totally hated it! The photos are promising but nobody prepares you about what's about to come! The administration is horrible!!! Too high prices (see 5.00 euros a coffee). The food is disgusting and the portions are too little. When we wanted to make complaints to the administration nobody showed up!! Furthermore, the sdinistration does not have a clue of what Greek hospitality means. The boss was rude not only towards his employees but also towards his clients! It's the first time that I had such a bad time because of all these. DO NOT GO THERE!!

people dont go there. you will be throwing your money away. i will never go there again. we left after the first night. dirty hotel with ants ,cocroaches and mice. i think the owner is very good with fotomanager by putting these fotos in the web. i would rather book at the "hotel california" and wine and dine with the beast then go there!!!!!. the owner and stuff are rude. how on earth did this hotel get 4 stars. owner,staff,hotel i rate it with a big minus!!!!. if you want to destroy your holidays go there. its the right place to be. or sent your wife and inlaws there. i am sure they will remeber you for the rest of their lives. ha ha!!!!!!!!!.

I would like to say that it was a bad experience. the owner extremely RUDE. NO MANNERS. he was asked to fix the aircondition in an old lady's room and he was so angry and told her not to bother him again. the food terrible. the pool dirty. no playground for kids. a tv set with two channels only, no sattelite tv. LIES. he told off his secretary many times in front of customers. poor english too. mosquitoes in the room too. no tennis court available. no conference room. he claims to have everything. the next day, we decided to leave this hotel. the owner demanded 50% extra money for each day we had planned to stay. we paid as we were told too. we took a taxi back to the port.
believe me IT IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL.. .............
