“What a rip off”

Having booked a weeks stay here with co-op travel agents, we paid for 2 bungalows as we were holidaying with our 26 year old daughter. On arrival we were sent to an annex building and placed in a small dirty room containing campbeds. The next morning we went to the reception and were placed in a bungalow with 3 beds. We decided to persevere but then found out what an awful location we were in. The beach was inaccessible and the service bus to town did not exist. We again approached the reception to see when we would be able to have our second bungalow so my daughter could unpack. We were told that we would have to pay an extra 70 euros per night to get what we had actually booked and paid for. We decided to stay in the 1 overcrowded bungalow and make the most of it.
Things just got worse, the food was horrible including the barbecue which is at extra cost. We had to pay for taxis to town and walk at least 40 mins to beach. The staff were very unhelpful with any queries regarding transport. After spending almost 2 days on phone calls and emails we managed to get moved to another hotel with good location and with the 2 seperate rooms we had booked at no extra cost.
We did enjoy what little was left of our holiday thanks to the wonderful staff at the meditereanio.
on a positive note the bar staff were very friendly and the choice of AI drinks is better than expected.

“Fine if you're not xenophobic...”

A very pleasant and relaxing week. If you're economising and have suitably low expectations, you'll be pleasantly surprised. All areas of the complex are clean and well maintained. The food lacks much in terms of Greek dishes, but the quality & freshness of what was on offer was impressive. The animation was only mildly intrusive, but easily avoided. If you desire the company of many Brits, you'll be disappointed. Judging from languages spoken, a large proportion of Russians, some Polish, some German, some Dutch and a few Brits. The staff have more English than I have Greek, so who am I to complain? Would I go again? Only if budgets need to be constrained....

Great hotel. Relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is great and with a lifeguard. Great for the children with the animation. Rooms are very comfortable and bungalows are unique. Full of Trees and flowers. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. It is ideal for a family.
Food is more than satisfactory. Amazing quantities and great quality. Breakfast, snack, launch, dinner.
Very close to hersonisos center for nightlife.
The photos in their site are indeed very close to reality.

“Great holiday! Nice staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 August 2010

At 11 o'clock we arrived and were ready still a placard there to eat for our. The holiday had started. Eating was qualitative good and nicely (also real Greek specialities such as mousaka, gyros, tzatiki) the staff is very pleasant and works very hard. The barman in the entrance hall bar is funny. The Animation team does its best. There is 1x per week a show and for the rest games. The BBQ cost 17 euro and are the money really worth, you feel you a VIP! . The swimming pool is super and is there lifequard. We look back on a super holiday in a good hotel, real 4 * worth. Up to next year!

“please dont go if your from uk”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2010

just returned from two week stay at above hotel, rooms clean to reasonable standard daily. travelled with wife and 5 year old son.first main point ,the food can only be described as absolutely disgusting,my son survived on water melon and bread daily for lunch and breakfast ,we had to eat out daily for our evening meal as food choice was unedible in both looks and taste.ill advised by others about location of hotel as you cannot walk the main road into town center with young children.put our son into hotel kids club for one day only and he was allowed to leave on his own to return to my wife and myself,we were not happy about this as this is a large complex.overall would not reccomend this hotel due to poor quality of food and non frindliness of vast majority of staff.hotel is mainly set up for eastern europeans as ourselves and one irish family were only uk residents so this i think would account for some strange menu choices in restaurant.
