Stayed here with my fiance for a week. Bellos staff were friendly and room was ok, greek basic style which we're used to....maybe needed upgrading slightly - we had a problem with the electrics....as in the plugs were burnt out and the cooker wasnt working and the air con was touch and go. Overall Bellos was lovely, sunbathing areas were stunning but pool still too cold to get in as we were there very early season.
For what we paid it was fantastic value for money.

We visited last Summer with our two children 15 and 12 and we loved it. We chose the Bellos because of the overwhelming glowing reviews and were not disappointed. All the staff, without exception, were very friendly and we thought they were totally dedicated to making sure we all were happy and comfortable and had the best time possible. Our kids particularly loved Eric and Gary and they certainly increased the enjoyment of the holiday for us.
We always hire a car for our holidays and felt that the apartments were in a great position for exploring the island, whilst also just a walk away from the main town and the lovely hillside villages of Piskopiano, etc.
The apartment was basic but had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The pool area was beautifully kept by the grounds staff and was a lovely place to relax through the day. We went in high season and the weather was very hot but we could always find sunloungers and a quiet place to put them. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was delicious and good value for money. We also attended the BBQ evening on both weeks and thoroughly enjoyed them.
It was our first visit to Crete and we don't think we could have found a better place too stay!

We stayed 2 weeks in 2004. We are looking to book it this year and came across the few bad reviews it got. So decided to put up our exprience. Firstly I want to say whoever put up the bad reviews must be complety dry r just the few who love to moan and find fault (where there are none!) From the moment my now husband mother and our 3 young kids stepped into christos bella we were made to feel very welcome indeed! We didint need or want to leave the place most nights it has everything you would want nearly every night theres something in from bbq nights pool nights karyoke. The first week there was a group of lads making an awful racket, they were dealt with swiftly but fairly and we had no more problems. The bbq was honestly the best ive had the meat was delish and they also had lovely variety of salads baked potatos etc. The owner christos was warm and friendly and went above and beyond to make us welcome one day giving us a lift to a far out beach! If your looking for a family holiday this is the place:) We cant wait for our holiday this year its been toooo long!! Even my mam whos a bit fussy says it was the best resort shes been to! Cant wait to see the newly renovated place. :) :) if I was being fussy I wud say its on a bit of hill but this didint matter as we rarely left.. ;)

we had 2 weeks at the bellos apts in august 2011 we had a fantastic time. rooms were comfy staff were great trying to go again this year . keep it up
