We spent 10 days in Cretan Village. I can say that we had great time there. My husband believes that people are making the atmosphere, so the staff in Cretan Village is making it perfect!
Firstly, this hotel has very good location. Also the territory is big, but not huge, very green and beautiful. Very good place for going with children.
Everybody is smiling, attentive to you and your children. Every little problem can be fixed in several minutes. The room is very simple, but comfortable, clean and bright.
Food is OK. You can always find something, for 4* hotel they have really good variety.
Beach is very clean, as well as pools and territory. Sometimes we had some problems with sunbeds, but we could always find something after 5 minutes. Water is crystal clean, my children were really happy to go to the beach and I could not take them out of the sea)
And of course I would like to say about animation. Guys are EXCELLENT. We enjoyed a lot their night shows and activities during the day. Kids were absolutely excited with the girls from mini-club, also very nice guys and their outstanding chef were making us positive during all stay.
So the hotel is wonderful place for families and we hope to come back next year!

We spent here one week - two adults with 1-year old child. Honestly speaking - it is difficult to write all positives, because there were more than negatives. Definitely we can recommend to families with children - several pools, attractions, great animation team (for older and also for younger), beach belongs directly to hotel. Quiet (if you do not live close to amphiteater) and simply but stylish accommodation. All inclusive is good.
High share of Russian people, but we did not find them to be extraordinary rude - I think You can find idiot inside all nationalities. In children pool we did not face any conflict (e.g. parent taking toys from other child to his/her child).
Staff nice and helpful, understanding several languages (incl. Eng, Rus). Towels for free to the beach, everything on beach for free.
Few things to be an outstanding place for holiday with children:
1. The entrance to the sea is good very close to molo, but it is about 5 meters narrow. Along all resort's beach, the stones are inside. Shoes recommended, anyway it is not comfortable for anybody. (on the other hand, some neighbour resorts even do not have any sand beach)
2. The food in main restaurant is after two or three days like routine - grilled chicken, turkey, pork, chicken, turkey, pork. The second grill - perfect sainthfish. Pasta - very good, repeating after three days. Souvlaki, gyros only once in week. Missed beef. The cakes were outstanding. If you like fruits and vegetables, You will be satisfied. Food - and I must say - good food is everywhere.

We have recently returned from this lovely hotel. Many, many positive features.
Idyllic setting, overlooking the crystal clear water.
Several pools- some more lively than others, so you can participate in all the activities on offer , if you wish, or you can chill out at a quieter pool.
Always plenty of food on offer. Three restaurants. The taverna, in particular, had lovely food, although it was very similar food on offer each week. ( The other restaurants are buffet service with a vast array of food on offer. You won't go hungry!)
The animation team are FABULOUS! So genuinely friendly. They worked really hard to keep us entertained and were so enthusiastic.
The rooms are fine. We had a small family room, and it is definitely small, but perfectly adequate for what we needed. ( The view over the sea from our balcony was amazing). You can pay more for a larger room.
I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff, in particular, are just so incredibly warm and friendly. We were all made to feel very welcome, and we will definitely return.
We have travelled to many hotels over the years, and I know you can't please all the people all of the time, but what this hotel has got is such a variety of activities, places to chill out, bars and eating places, that you don't feel that you are having a package holiday- you can tailor the holiday to what you want from it. Go for it!
