This is possibly one of the worst resorts in Matheran. The AC did not work. When they fixed it, it was making a lot of noise. Hot water is available for only 2 hours in the morning. Room service is poor. Food was ok. Bedsheets, bathroom, bathtub, lamps, telephone connection and electrical outlets were in really poor shape, with fixtures hanging out of its sockets. And the worst thing was roaches. They were everywhere. THe room service attendant tried twice to kill them all using insect killer, but they kept coming back. Hell, I was even scared of sitting on the WC coz they were coming out of every nook and corner. I was informed by the locals that the management here allegedly does not pay its employees, which has led to deterioration of service. Avoid this hotel if you don't want to go through the nightmare I have been through.

Positives .....let me see.....only the design of the rooms and landscaping, magic show, puppet show, hot and clean food (little bland)

Zero maintenance, unclean bathrooms, musty rooms, load shedding, no drinking water, poor service, monkeys bathing in the pool early in the morning, loud music, bathroom door doesnt shut properly; if shut properly doesn't open up easily!!!

We went on 2nd of Nov 2010.It was a very bad experience in my life by staying in this hotel. No light was there. Not proper service was given. I will share my experience that don't ever visit this hotel.
