We loved everything about Eagle Cliff. The owners weren't there when we checked in but made it very easy for us to make ourselves at home. A glass of wine on the porch was just what we needed after a long day of driving. A walk across the street was all it took for cocktails and a beautiful sunset and dinner on the patio. The room was perfect-we were at the front of the house but had no problem with the noise from the strip. After a great, hot breakfast we left to see the sites-the covered bridges and the DeBonne Winery-a great ending to our trip around Lake Erie!

The location is great if you are wanting to be close to everything in Geneva on the Lake and the surrounding lake and wine attractions. It is right across the street from my favorite resturant in Geneva. The porch is a wonderful, a great place to people watch, drink a cup of coffee or just relax. The staff is very friendly and truely make you feel "at home." The room was very comfortable, quiet, and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and a great way to start the day before heading out. We are trying to find time to go back already!

Just returned from our Anniversary Weekend get-a-way at the Eagle Cliff Inn in Geneva On the Lake, Ohio. Can't say enough about the lovely old house. We got in a little late and found our note from LuAnn. We opened up the front door and were greeted with soft music and low lights and a fresh clean smell. Our room was welcoming with small bedside lights lit and a fluffy white down comforter on the bed. The kitchen was fully stocked for our late night snacking and notes everywhere welcoming us and telling us to make ourselves at home. Which we did! On the wonderful front porch swing! Breakfast was simple but good with fresh fruit, an excellent potato cassarole, eggs, meat and freshly baked muffins. Several juices and lots of fresh coffee. We shared the B&B with two other couples who became great friends over a long game of cards on the wonderful porch. It was like visiting with family, we laughed and talked the night away. OK, maybe you won't get that but the place was great and felt comfortable. Thanks much! We will be back! N and R Canfield, Ohio

PS: you do get some road noise in the front room but it calms down and we were not disturbed all night.

We had a two night weekday stay at the Inn for our anniversary and my birthday. It was our second time and we loved it again. Very clean rooms and attentive staff. The breakfast was kept warm for us the morning we slept in until 10 am, and it was excellent. As mentioned in other reviews, it is "on the Strip" but far enough away from the craziness. We loved the wrap around front porch for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. This is where we met Jerry, the owner. We had a great conversation and he filled us in with some interesting history and facts about Geneva on the Lake. We have stayed at other places in the area, and without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in this price range.
