It's setup around a flowing water stream with lovely rooms. Sleep at night was awesome with the feeling of sleeping in the middle of a jungle amid sounds of flowing water, crickets and frogs. Food was very nice with a lovely spread at all meals. We spent just one day, but believe 2 days are better to enjoy all the facilities and the nature at the resort, but with little things for the children. Swimming pool was nice though the games room was not very impressive. We did not use their spa.

had a lota fun at wayanad..espc at the resort...felt as if we were at home..very gud facilities and hospitality is excellent..the resort is very much ecofriendly and to see the sunrise espcilly ven v r in the park is really awsome....njoyed the maximum with my friends..think that i should come here again with my family...

The place is way over rated! All i can say is that its all a hype.
We went there in January, the weather was pleasant but we were highly disappointed with with the resort.
One major issue is that the place isn't maintained at all.
Food is average though a buffet system , not much to choose from.
Rooms are clean and service is fine.
Activities like trekking/plantation tour is not at all coordinated.
I would like to add that there is no value for all the money that you pay here.
If your expecting something like Orange County - Coorg then, you won't get anything even close to it at Vythiri.
Won't be going back there again for sure , it is so not worth it !

Well for a guy who was born and has relatives in the forest areas of Kerala, this is not a new experience,hjowever for pure city dwellers and business people/software techies well this suits your taste.

No TV or any other entertainment except with your partner/collegues on the tennis table/carrom board table - Nice one !!!

Worst path god could make from the main road,please do not go in the dark on your own vehicle - suffered thoroughly , take my advice use their transport - Stones and mud fill the path.

Artificially created stream runs around the resort - One amazing thing is the resort construction and the theme - Amazing idea , created the structures , had an initial blast , then forgotten - thats the condition of the buildings.

Monkeys and slimy little leeches are the regular visitors to the place , if you don't notice where u walk espcially on the hanging bridge or near the stones,during the rainy months, yes you will need a small fire or common salt to remove them off your toes/legs etc.

Service : Good service staff ,obidient and knowledgable will do anything for you...

Food: Solid Plus on this , amazing all round food, nothing is missed including personal care.

House keeping : little slow, they never did fill our bath tub with water till the time we left.

Never miss: the tree house !!!

SPA : Yeah, they do something as if they know about it !!! nothing great same stuff!!

Verdict : Nice outing !!! Not phenomenal but enjoyable relaxed stay inside the dense Wayanad forest filled with the blessed unknown nature's best ....
