The access road is little difficult to negotiate if you are not a seasoned driver. Get proper directions before starting off about the landmarks and their names, then you can cross check with the local people on the way. It offers wonderful views of green hills all around. We had the Cottage on stilts, the one near the dining area and it offered a great view of sunrise.
The 'view point' is under construction but you can make your way to the top and find a couple of benches to enjoy a 180 degree view of the hills. Very isolated location and you will have your space. They dont accept cards so carry all the cash you are going to need. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable. The bath has a tub and everything is maintained very clean. Food was a mixed experience. Slightly on the bland side. It was good food except on 2 occassions where it was too bland for my liking, then again that's subjective. The executive is good and takes care of all your needs well.
We had stayed on weekdays so there were no other guests. They offer bicycles but as the plantations is on hills not much use. It is located after Meppadi near Ripon and the route is very scenic with tea gardens. But you dont get a view of the tea gardens from the resort.
It is definitely worth the cost.
