If you are in this area, do not miss this small heritage hotel. All the staff are local and have been trained by the charming owners Mr and Mrs Lal. Their language skills may be alittle lacking, but they make up for this with kindness and friendliness. One meets the chef on the lawn over tea, to discuss the dinner menu. You will certainly enjoy the fruits of his labours. All the rooms are different- our large room was in the annexe. There were a lot of electrical switches but this is commonplace in old Indian buildings. A bonus will be if you meet the owners Mr and Mrs Lal. They are not always at the hotel as they have ahome in Delhi and business interests there, but their influence at the hotel, even if they are not in residence, is very obvious
