Guwahati, the Gateway to Northeast has many hotels in various categories, Star hotels, business, budget, etc. Here I talk about Hotel Nandan, where I stayed for 3 Days and 2 Nights. It is one of the best hotels in Guwahati. Located at G.S Road, it is good place to check-in. Most of the upscale retail showrooms and restaurants are located along the G.S Road. If you happen to get bored, you can just hop-in to a city bus and reach shopping destination within 15 minutes. Guwahati Railway Station is located barely within 500 metres. Airport is approximately 21 Kms from here. I stayed for 2 days and had all my dinner and breakfast at the hotel. I used to be out during day time, so had my lunch elsewhere.
Talking about hotel staff, they are very friendly and good mannered. They do not interfere with you unnecessarily. The laundry service is fine. However, during a short stay during winters, you may not have the need. All the rooms, starting from Deluxe have minibar, television and Air-conditioning.
Now let me talk you about the price. It’s amazing! It’s a 3 star hotel, which charges you 2699 per night for a room with two beds. You will certainly love the place, however you may not like the immediate city road, where very often on weekdays, traffics becomes hectic. But at the same time, you may also not find a better deal. I feel to suggest you before, while wondering and choosing where to stay for your holiday or a business trip, you should definitely consider Hotel Nandan as well. Sometimes keeping various options and wondering makes you tired and yes most importantly, you waste your valuable time.
To conclude, I would tell that I loved staying at the hotel and prefer to be there again, when I visit. Are you visiting? Okay, why not book a room in the Hotel. I assure you will have a great time and value for money.
