You should be warned, this isn't a Hojo's anymore. The owner bought name rights to Motel 6, so it was switched a few months ago. I do know the story of the "illegal carpet workers"....i dont who they are, however, the outdoor grill, the childrens play toys, and the patio furniture out back by the sliding glass door, isnt the so called "illegals" stuff. It belongs to a man named Mark, he works at Motel 6 as a FULL TIME maintenance/repair man. he also has HIS OWN apartment in the very back. Geneva is a very small town, so MOST of the people are very nice and welcoming. Mark isnt a bad guy, (He even made these INCREDIBLE steaks for my friend and i, we all had a good time). Overall, the only staff member that seems "hostile", is Nancy, but then again, she is the manager. so overall, I do enjoy staying here. and was kinda sad when they switched to Motel 6, but its still the great, fun loving, and friendly hotel its always been. so, in closing, I DO recommend this hotel.

Good room, clean and quiet. But for a small fee I won't be back. At check in the billing amount was not as quoted on the HJ website when reserved. When I mentioned it, the clerk laughed and said others had said the same thing and she didn't know why it was such a big deal. I travel to the area each year in their off season, so for the laugh they will get no more of my dime. The fee was a telephone charge not itemized until check out. Also too far out of the way.

Do not stay here. Was changed into Motel 6 after reservations made. Place is old not to clean. Beds are terrible. Towels are very thin. No room clocks, coffee makers or refrigerators.
