We were very satisfied with the accommodations and breakfast that were provided at the hotel. The room was very clean and smelled reasonable. We opened the window for some fresh country air and the room smelled great.

The bathroom was also clean and everything was functional. The staff was very friendly.

The pool was heated and open 24/7 which our kids enjoyed very much. The breakfast was excellent, neatly stocked and very appealing. There was plenty fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, yogurt, etc. and even chocolate flavored waffles which the kids enjoyed to both make and eat.

The hotel won some sort of gold award for 2011 and we can see why. We would undoubtedly stay there again.

What a pleasure it was to stay here! Hannah at the front desk was sweet and friendly, and we struck up a great conversation. We spoke to the manager Jason, who was also friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in a double queen room, which was large and very clean. The shower got really hot and had great water pressure. There was a safe in the room, which they charge you for unless you tell them you didn't use it, so be sure to pay attention to that. There was a large TV, and the AC worked great! At night it got cold, so we turned on the heat and the room warmed up in about 2 minutes!

They have a 24 hour pool and hot tub, and a really good free hot breakfast. They had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffles, as well as fruit, pastries, and cereal. They had a fitness center as well, though I didn't use it.

They have a great location, with all the restaurants surrounding them, and they are only 2 miles from the Ohio Turnpike. Wal-mart is across the street, and they are the closest hotel to Fremont. All other hotels in town are 2 miles away, on the turnpike, but not actually in the town of Fremont. They are only minutes away from Sandusky, and the Cedar Point Amusement Park. Overall, this was a great stay for us, excellent location, and wonderful staff. I would stay here again!

This hotel was everything I expected it to be: clean,comfortable, and COLD air conditioning!(in July) Good "continental" breakfast. People at Service Desk spoke ENGLISH as a first language. Good price.
I will stay here again.

My nieces, their mom, and I went to Cedar Point during the 4th of July weekend. Since the drive back to Michigan would take approximately two hours and it is pitch black at night on the turnpike, we decided to stay overnight. When we arrived the hotel, there was yellow caution tape on one side of the parking lot (which is not something you'd normally want to see). Turns out, the parking lot had been repaved, which caused a shortage of spaces. The Taco Bell next door allowed guests to park there for convenience.

The front desk staff is very nice. We were allowed to check in early, and even received hot cookies to snack on. The pool area is clean and large enough for several people without feeling crowded. The pool is also open 24 hours, which is a bonus if you are traveling without children. There is also a dining area, where they serve free breakfast in the mornings.

The double bed room was large with additional shelving across from the bathroom that holds a coffee maker, ice bucket, the coffee and tea assortments and room for the carry outs we had from the bar/restaurant directly across the street. The best part is this hotel is located near lots of shopping. Walmart is right down the street. There are also lots of restaurants in the area.
