We have stayed at the Findlay Inn on many occasions while visiting family in the area. It's a nice, mid-western small town property centrally located to the downtown business district. There is a nice bar/restaurant with a free buffet breakfast including the now universal Belgian waffle maker. The pastries were fresh but seemed commercial (there are great local bakeries like Bread Kneads that would be a better source for quality and local flavor). Our room was clean and simply furnished, with a curious HVAC system. Though the unit was off our room was 72F - and so was the room of other family staying down the hall. The bathroom was spotless and the amenities were of a bit higher quality than expected. All in all, I'd rather stay here than the cheaper national chains which are no nicer, a bit pricier and farther from downtown. I wish the beds were a bit more comfortable though.
