I stayed here for a Saturday night stay to attend a local bicycle tour - wanted to have ability to start our ride early in the morning as soon as the route opened. I hadn't stayed at a RedRoofInn since my college days - I had always remembered them to be a good value - basic but clean and reliable.
Found the RedRoofInn website to be easy to navigate - reserved room on-line. This motel is very easy to find from Interstate-75. Exterior looked like typical RedRoof Inn, in an area with several other Inns and motels.
Check-in was handled efficiently by a pleasant women - she had noted by Internet request for a 'quiet room' and did her best to offer me a room in the rear, most likley to be undisturbed by motoris and foot traffic - she explained the breakfast and Internet offering, and that the pool was closed for the season ;-(. Also asked if I wanted a wake-up call. We found the room easily, there was plenty of parking right outside of the rooms.
Some areas of the exterior looked slightly run-down (peeling paint, scuff marks), but still looked nice overall.
Room was typical motel style that I remember from college, with a slightlu updated modern style. Everything looked orderly and clean - we had a two queen bed room. All room equipment was in working order and basic amenities were provided. Bed mattress was comfortable, but not luxurious (didn't expect luxury at this price point). The lighting in the room was rather poor, too bright above the head of the bed, and too dim elsewhere in the room.
Sawthe small pool (which was being drained), it wan't large, but it would be nice to visit during the warmer months. Slept fine, drapes did good job of blocking light, room was quiet. Visited the breakfast room for some juice - they offered a variety of pastries, toast, bkst sandwiches, cereal, etc. - was suprised at the variety of offerings for a budget motel (I didn't eat anything due to having pre-purchases breakfast at the rec center.)
Check-out was fast and efficient.
Overall, the place was fine - it offered a clean and quiet room for a low price, with friendly service and an expanded breakfast a unexpected addition!
